Hi, we're Ziyao & Olga, a multinational couple who lives in the Netherlands. And the story of how we both ended up in the Netherlands is quite unusual. So let us introduce ourselves.

I (Olga) come from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 , and I lived for a couple of years in the UK while I was studying there. And about 2 years ago I moved to the Netherlands.

Ziyao is Dutch 🇳🇱  even though from my perspective he's more of a Chinese man 🇨🇳 than a Dutch one 🤷‍♀️

And funnily enough we met while we both studied in the UK 🇬🇧, where we spend only about 2 months together.

After those 2 months we spent 3 years in a long distance relationship. We went through a pandemic 😷 and not being able to see each other for months.

And finally, 2 years ago I finally finished my studies 🎓 and moved to the Netherlands where we live together ever since.

Now we’re both working while trying to travel and go on dates as much as possible while saving money for our future house and family💰. 

We're here to share with you our travels 🌍, tips and hacks as we we try and learn them along the way.  As well as ways to travel on a set budget but still have fun and make the most of it. But we're also here to talk about saving and budgeting and all that struggles that moving to a different country and being in a multinational couple brings.
